Federated Cohorts

The Global Parkinson’s Genetics Program (GP2) and Accelerating Medicines Partnership: Parkinson’s Disease (AMP PD) have come together to be your one-stop shop for Parkinson’s disease genetic (GP2) and multi-omic (AMP PD) data that will speed your discovery of novel drug targets and biomarkers to accelerate generation of new medicines for Parkinson’s.

The accessible data is comprised of the AMP PD Harmonized Data and GP2 Federated Data. The AMP PD Harmonized Data consolidates longitudinal multi-omic and phenotypic information together from multiple cohorts into a single unified repository. The GP2 Federated Data brings together a one-of-a-kind global genomic dataset to bring users a seamless experience through a familiar collaborative cloud-based computing environment to connect these two massive databases in a federated manner.

Both of the harmonized and federated data are available through a single data use agreement, making it easier to access a massive amount of data stored in the cloud.

Why place these two programs in one place? Because they are nicely complementary (Read more).
